Marty Evans brings over 25 years experience as an elementary school art teacher to her Sunday school classes. That experience, and her knowledge of arts integration, provide lessons that excite the children and hold their interest.  Sunday school is offered each week.  Children remain with the adult for part of the worship service before leaving for their own activities.  Marty, daughter Heather and Connie Miller are constantly seeking new and innovative ways to share the Good News with young people at Burdett Presbyterian Church. Each year, children have a chance to participate in special activities during the Lenten and Advent seasons.  As the Christian Education program continues to grow, the number of programs and activities offered young people will also grow. Changing family structures and busy schedules present a myriad of challenges for those offering Christian education programs, particularly those working in small rural churches. Our church is committed to developing programs that meet those challenges.
